Specialized Tracks
The Division of Business Administration runs two specialized track education programs as follows.
In a rapidly changing global business environment, the demand for creative business professionals with ethical integrity is increasing continuously. Thus, producing creative students with management skills and ethical consciousness is one of the most important tasks for all institutions of higher education. Our Creative Ethical Business track education program, based on the Yonsei spirit of Christianity, offers new specialized courses that help students grasp social creativity and ethical management skills through humanities, philosophical trainings, and community services. The ultimate purpose of this track education program is to create and build all possible avenues for students to gain necessary knowledge and experience that can be applied to real business problems in today's dynamic and complex environments.

This program provides two curriculum groups of specialized courses to educate students as a ethical business leader in the future competitive industries. The two curriculum groups of specialized courses are:

Business Ethics curriculum group, which provides courses to educate Business Ethics, Sustainability Management, Corporate Social Responsibility, Business Leadership, Human Relations etc. and also requires students to participate in public service and leadership program in order to learn a variety of volunteer field experience for being an excellent ethical business leader in the future.

Humanities, Philosophy, and Creativity Managements curriculum group, which provides interdisciplinary courses to educate Humanities, Philosophy, Art, and Creativity Managements, etc and will provide students with a much asked for component of management - the ability to think and utilize creativity in practical ways. This course aims to give chances to students to recognize and develop the value of imagination, inspiration, ingenuity, and initiative in today's competitive business environments.

The objective of DS/IS track program is to cultivate excellent managers who are able in quantitative decision making and knowledge engineering in the new era of knowledge and information. This program provides four curriculum groups of specialized courses to educate students who plan to be professional managers in the fields of business consulting, e-business, business decision making, fund management, and so forth. Students are required to select one or more groups among the four groups of courses and then take the courses from the selected group(s) intensively so that they can be developed into specialized managers, whom the business world are demanding nowadays. The four curriculum groups of specialized courses are:

Knowledge Management/Information Systems curriculum group, which provides courses to educate methodologies, techniques, and applications for knowledge management and information systems. Students learn about the theory in knowledge management and information systems, information system strategy, consulting and implementation, and acquisition and application of knowledge in the field of business.

Quantitative Analysis curriculum group, which provides courses to educate management theories and techniques to predict the future, make managerial decision, and optimize the results from the prediction or decision making by investigating and analyzing the data from markets and customers. Students learn about the mathematical methodologies such as statistics, management science, and managerial decision making.

CRM/SCM curriculum group, which provides courses to educate theories and techniques for customer relationship management (CRM) and supply chain management (SCM). CRM is to analyze customer's data to extract and apply marketing information, which can maintain and reinforce customers by enhancing customer's loyalty. SCM is to obtain information for optimal production, delivery, and sales by sharing and connecting informations of all the interrelated companies conducting from the production of material and goods to the selling to final consumers. Students learn about the management theories and techniques for production, operation, and customer as well as information technology which can be applied to the production and operation.

Finance curriculum group, which provides courses to educate theories, methodologies, and techniques to predict, enhance, and re-product corporate value by managing the corporate financial assets. Students learn state-of-the-art financial engineering techniques as well as the fundamental theories of accounting and finance. They also learn some courses of which contents can be applied to domestic and international financial markets.
